New Album News!

I'm so excited!

Last weekend, I received an email from Gerald with some preliminary artwork for the new CD! It's going to be titled "Plenty for Everyone" and it looks amazing! I can't wait to have the full package together. Seeing what Gerald has created has made this that much more real.

Also, Gerald and Steve are just finishing up the remaining guitar and synth overdubs which means we are almost ready to mix. I'll fill you all in when that time comes. In the meantime, I'm going to bug Gerald and see if he'll let me post some of the great artwork he has created for the disc. He may be a little resistent since he's a bit of a perfectionist, but I think I'll be able to convince him.

Finally, if you've been wondering what to expect from the songs off the new disc, Gerald has posted a rough demo of one of them on myspace.

All That Was Down is Now Up Again

I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to those of you on the mailing list who received an email about the new site and news and stuff only to come to a broken link when you tried to visit.

As rotten luck would have it, the day I sent the email out, Typepad (our new host) had some huge crash that brought down all of their blogs for an ENTIRE WEEKEND! Needless to say I became more than a little frustrated with our new home and yelled a few choice expletives at my computer every time I tried to go to the site to see if things were up on Friday, then again Saturday AND Sunday. When Monday morning came, I was wondering whether I had made a huge mistake coming here.

The good news is that everything has been up and running just fine since then and I've managed to get most of the content that was on the old site up on this one. You may notice that this is more of a blog format which I hope will make things easier to archive and update and stuff. This way, I don't have to be at home fiddling with Dreamweaver to make a change or add some news, all I need is a computer with a browser and...well...I'm sure you don't care.

So, some of the cool things about the new site are: better archiving capabilities (as I've stated before, but that doesn't really effect you now does it?); an easier to use image gallery; rss feeds and podcast capability; the ability to add your comments; and a new interface that has everything organized on one screen making everything accessible with one click of the mouse.
